Full payments are to be made after a receipt of request, consultation, final agreement and prior to artist initiating artwork. For commissions $100 or more, half can be paid upfront and the other half upon completion of high resolution digital file and time lapse video of process. Ownership of the Commission will only pass from the Artist to the Client on receipt of payment in full. The Commission will not be sent to Purchaser until the agreed payment amount has been received. Payment method is determined as written in the Commission Agreement prior to the Start of Work (i.e. bank account transfer, PayPal, Venmo, Cashapp). The Artist will confirm payment once drafts have been seen and agreed upon by the Client; any further work on the Commission will be with-held until this agreement is made and payment received.

Decline of Offers:

The Artist has the right to refuse any Commission request, without needing to explain the reason. The Artist will not create any depiction of sexually explicit (i.e., “x-rated”) or any form of hateful or racist imagery.

FLOW OF WORK:

  • Step 1: Sketch - you can request changes to the drawing (up to 2 edits, NOT touching the main pose. For example: placement of hands or expression can be altered but the full pose not)

  • Step 2: Color plan / Rough colors - you can request changes to the base colors (the sketch cannot be touched at this point)

  • Step 3: Rendering and final image - no changes are possible at this stage

Artist Cancellation of Commission:

The Artist reserves the right to stop work on a Commission, or cancel a Commission request due to poor communication, rude/inappropriate behavior, or a breach of these Terms of Service.

POSSIBLE REFUNDS:

  • If you decide to cancel BEFORE I start working on your request

  • If I cannot provide/finish the artwork for any reason

I can only provide a refund if any of the above conditions are met. No refunds in any other cases.

Deadlines:

The Artist will NOT take on Commissions that have a) strict or short deadlines; and b) if the Client is not flexible on deadlines. If the Commission is time-sensitive, a rush fee may be applied, to be defined and agreed upon in the Commission Agreement prior to Start of Work. The Artist, to the best of their ability, can give a general indication of how long the Commission will take to complete, and when the Client can expect to receive the finished product prior to the Start of Work. The Artist will inform the Client regularly or progress (including photos) or if changes to completion times have occurred.

  • Artwork will be finished within 1-2 months after payment

  • If you need me to meet a certain deadline, let me know in advance and I’ll let you know whether I can work with those conditions or not.

  • Digital illustration (there is no physical copy)

  • Full resolution digital image in A4 size at 300 dpi

  • Output: high-quality JPEG (unless you request a different format)

Confidentiality:

If the Commission is defined as confidential in the Commission Agreement, the Artist will temporarily delay public display of the image at the request of the Client and as defined in the Commission Agreement until such time the Commission Agreement specifies public display is permitted. A Client may not request the Artist to complete a Commission without defining the time-span in the Commission Agreement to eventually allow the Artist to publicly display the image.
